I have always been drawn to stepping beyond my own circumstances, seeking to view the world through different lenses. We are not the sole actors in this intricate web of life, and the spectrum of what constitutes the living is far less predefined than our collective imagination might suggest.
«If we lived longer than mountains, perhaps we would consider them more alive: the slowness and the limits of perception. It takes stepping away for a while to see them.» — Michel Blazy
My practice is rooted in fostering collaboration with the more-than-human, revealing the beauty, complexity, and resilience of life beyond Homo sapiens. Through ceramics and fictional illustration, I explore the interplay between organic processes and artistic creation. By integrating bio-thinking, I seek to highlight co-evolution, encouraging deeper engagement with our shared environment and a challenging anthropocentric perspectives on creativity.
I believe that the synergy between biodesign and traditional craftsmanship is not just a convergence of past and future techniques—it is a necessary evolution toward a more symbiotic, sustainable approach to design. By embracing this intersection, I aim to cultivate a practice that is both poetic and ecologically attuned, where making becomes an act of dialogue rather than domination.
